Student Work
Teaching has always been my passion. My strength as a teacher has its roots in my own education as I have benefited from the varied teaching methods and philosophies of a great many excellent role models. Experience teaching a wide range of courses at several colleges, universities and educational settings has enabled me to work with diverse student bodies from a variety of backgrounds, races, ethnicities and ages. Although I believe that students must accept the responsibility for their own education, I feel that it is my responsibility to set clear course objectives and bring as much information, guidance, encouragement and humor to the classroom as I can. Learning is a fluid process and we all learn from each other during our time together. My personal dedication to life long learning enables me to continually remain engaged with and connected to this process. If I can be instrumental in creating the spark which translates into a love of learning that students can carry with them in every aspect of their lives, then I have truly been successful as an educator.
