Born in Florida and raised in New England, Patricia Moshanko received a BA with Distinction in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT where she also played on the Women’s Varsity Polo team. She later attended Southern Connecticut State University where she was granted an MA in Studio Art with a concentration in Printmaking. She attended Penland School in North Carolina where she continued her studies in various print media as well as in papermaking. Her MFA degree was conferred in Printmaking from the University of Delaware. She currently attends a Writer's Workshop in Lancaster, PA.
Ms. Moshanko has taught a wide range of courses in Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Design and Creative Problem Solving at the University Level. For many years she has been the Visual Arts Coordinator and Instructor for the prestigious Governor's School for Excellence, a program for gifted and talented High School students held at the University of Delaware.
She lives in Pennsylvania on a small farm in rural Southern Chester County with a menagerie of horses, dogs, cats, goats and chickens which all serve as inspiration for her artwork and writing.
